Listings expose OpenAPI and MCP definitions — plus a JSON feed and llms.txt — so agents can discover a tool, read its schema, and pay per call programmatically.
Every hosted platform seller can opt into the Hub at no extra cost: your gateway already publishes the OpenAPI, MCP, and L402 metadata the Hub renders. It’s upside, not a dependency — your gateway URL works for your own customers the moment it’s live, and the Hub adds discovery on top. We grow it deliberately, prioritizing quality APIs over volume. Running your own L402 gateway instead of ours? You can submit it to the directory for listing too.
Real-world use
A trading agent needs derivatives data its builder never wired in. Through the Hub’s machine-readable listings it finds a market-intelligence API charging a few sats per request, reads the schema, and starts calling within its budget. No vendor account, no API-key request email, no human in the loop; the seller just sees paid traffic arrive.
